Local Campaigner Alison Tyler To Stand In Kenilworth By-Election2.19.57pm BST (GMT +0100) Fri 9th Jul 2004
Kenilworth Liberal Democrats have chosen local campaigner Alison Tyler to fight the forthcoming town council by-election in Park Hill ward on Thursday 12th August. Alison secured 817 votes in 2003 as a first-time candidate, and is confident she can do even better this time! Liberal Democrats and Tories are neck-and-neck in the ward in terms of share of votes, with Labour a poor third. A special by-election edition of Focus is being distributed in Park Hill ward from today - you can view a copy on the "Download Area" page of this web site. Supporters wanting to offer help with Alison's campaign should ring Ian Fenwick on 01926 512531.
